Agreement to these terms

This site, vulcanax.com, is published by Ceiling Search LLC, an Ohio limited liability company doing business as VulcanAX, based in Columbus, Ohio, United States. Using the site means you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.

What this site is, and what it is not

Everything published here is informational. Pages describing services, process, deliverables, comparisons, and pricing exist to explain how VulcanAX works and to help you decide whether a conversation is worth having.

Reading this site, submitting the contact form, or booking a call does not create a consultant-client relationship or any duty of care. That relationship starts at signature, not at first contact.

Engagement terms take precedence

Terms for actual client work, including scope, fees, payment schedule, term and termination, confidentiality, ownership of deliverables, and any service commitments, are set in a master service agreement and statement of work negotiated directly with the client. Those documents are not published here. Where anything on this site conflicts with a signed agreement, the signed agreement governs.

No guarantee of results

Search and AI answer engines are third-party systems. Their ranking, retrieval, and citation behaviour changes without notice and is outside anyone's control, including ours. VulcanAX commits to method and effort, not to specific positions, traffic figures, lead volume, revenue, or inclusion in any particular AI answer.

Any figures, examples, or outcomes described on this site or in the blog reflect particular situations at particular times. They are illustrations, not predictions, and they are not a promise of comparable results for you. Treat published articles as professional commentary, not as advice for your specific circumstances, and not as legal, financial, or tax advice.

Acting on anything published here is your decision and your risk. The articles describe how VulcanAX approaches problems on sites it has been engaged to work on, with the context that engagement provides. Implementing something from an article yourself, on a site VulcanAX has not audited, is not an engagement and carries none of the judgement one would involve. If you apply it and it does not work, or it makes your position worse, that outcome is yours and not something VulcanAX is responsible for.

Intellectual property

The text, articles, page designs, layouts, graphics, and code on this site are owned by Ceiling Search LLC or used with permission, and are protected by copyright and other laws. The VulcanAX name and marks belong to Ceiling Search LLC. Third-party names, platforms, and marks referred to on this site belong to their respective owners and are used for identification and comparison only, which does not imply endorsement or affiliation.

You may read, link to, quote briefly with attribution, and print pages for your own reference. You may not republish substantial portions, present the material as your own, or use it to build a competing offering.

Machine access and AI systems

Automated access for search indexing and AI answer engines is welcome, and this site publishes machine-readable descriptions of itself specifically to support it. Crawling within the limits of our robots file is permitted, as is quoting the material with attribution to VulcanAX. What is not permitted is scraping the site wholesale to reproduce it, republishing it as a derivative work, or misrepresenting the source. Acceptable use

Use the site lawfully and do not interfere with it. Specifically, do not attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site or its infrastructure, probe or test its security without permission, introduce malicious code, place unreasonable load on it, submit false or misleading information, use the contact form for spam or unsolicited sales, or harvest contact details for bulk messaging.

If you believe you have found a security vulnerability, please report it responsibly using the contact detail published at /.well-known/security.txt.

Third-party links and embedded services

This site links to third-party sites and embeds a booking calendar supplied by a scheduling provider. Those services are controlled by other companies, operate under their own terms and privacy policies, and are not our responsibility. A link is not an endorsement.

Availability

The site is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or continuously current, and we may change, suspend, or remove any part of it at any time without notice. Content may be edited or withdrawn as circumstances change.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ceiling Search LLC and its operator are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profit, revenue, data, or business opportunity, arising out of your use of this site or reliance on anything published here. To the fullest extent permitted by law, total liability arising from the site is limited to one hundred United States dollars. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Liability arising from a signed client agreement is governed by that agreement, not by this section.

Privacy

How personal information is handled is set out in the privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, United States, without regard to its conflict of law rules. The state and federal courts located in Franklin County, Ohio have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these terms or from use of this site, and you consent to that jurisdiction and venue.

Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated. The current version is always the one posted here, and the "last updated" date changes when it does. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the revised terms.

Severability and entire agreement

If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in force and the unenforceable provision is applied to the maximum extent permitted. Not enforcing a provision on one occasion is not a waiver of it. Together with the privacy policy, these terms are the entire agreement between you and Ceiling Search LLC regarding use of this site.
